Tenjin & Academic Success: How to Pray for Exam Victory, Career Growth & Wisdom
"Sincere effort is your foundation; divine blessing (Kami no Kago) is the wind beneath your wings."
Every winter and spring, millions of students, professionals, and creators across Japan flock to Tenjin shrines. They come not to ask for effortless miracles, but to dedicate their commitment to Sugawara no Michizane — the legendary 9th-century scholar-statesman reified as the Kami of Wisdom and Scholarly Achievement.
