神社歷史緣起
A thousand years ago, a small village was submerged by a sudden shift in the earth. The villagers believed their shrine was saved by the water spirits, preserved forever in a liquid embrace. It has since become a place to honor what is lost but not forgotten.

On calm days, the entire shrine is visible through the water. Worshippers rent small rowboats and release white chrysanthemums, which slowly sink towards the submerged torii gate.

The 'Festival of Floating Lights' is held in late summer. Hundreds of glowing lanterns are set adrift, lighting up the lake like a second sky.
