A unique shrine hidden within a cave in Kamakura. It is famous for its 'money-washing water', where visitors wash their coins and bills in hopes of doubling their fortune.
神社歷史緣起
Founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo after a prophetic dream. The spring water in the cave is one of Kamakura's Five Famous Waters. History says Hojo Tokiyori also washed coins here to pray for prosperity.

The entrance is a tunnel cut through solid rock, leading to a hidden valley. The main attraction is the cave where you perform the ritual of washing money in bamboo baskets.
